Elwha River and Sea Kayaking Meeting Place
123 Lake Aldwell Road, Port Angeles, WA 98363
We are located just 8 miles from Port Angeles and 25 miles from Sequim, the first right after the Elwha River Bridge.
From Port Angeles – 8 miles west on Highway 101, cross the Elwha River and take the first right onto Lake Aldwell Road. we are 1/4 mile down on left.
(15 minutes from downtown Port Angeles, 40 minutes from downtown Sequim)
From Forks – Go east on Highway 101, approx. 7 miles beyond Lake Crescent take a left on Lake Aldwell Road. We are 1/4 mile down on left.
(1 hour from Forks, 15 minutes from Lake Crescent Lodge or Log Cabin Resort)
PLEASE ARRIVE AT THE MEETING TIME! We have limited parking and if you arrive early we may have a full lot until the previous trip is finished.
To Hoh River Meeting Place
From Forks - Go south on Highway 101 for 13 miles to the Hoh-Oxbow Campground, located on the left side of the highway adjacent to the Highway 101 bridge over the Hoh River. If you cross the Hoh River, you’ve gone 50 yds too far! It’s between mileposts 176 and 177.
From Kalaloch Lodge, Lake Quinault and areas south – Go north on Highway 101. We are 20 miles north of Kalaloch Lodge on the right, just beyond the Hoh River bridge. Cross bridge and take first right into Hoh-Oxbow Campground. It’s between mileposts 176 and 177.
If you arrive early we may not be there yet so relax by the river and we’ll see you soon!
